The Quotables

The Quotables

Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to explore strange old quotes, to seek out new sayings, and new ways of stating them in a galaxy not so far away. [Interact with our blog at thequotablespodcast.blogspot.com ]

When everything old is new again, you would think we would have nothing left to say. Wrong! Just because the subject of this week's podcast died almost 900 years ago, it doesn't mean he has nothing to say to us today. Thanks to the new Pope for reminding us that Saint Francis of Assisi was a man ahead of his time. If you have ever seen a Nativity scene or worried about peace in the Middle East, this episode is for you.

With all that in mind, we hope you enjoy this episode, inspired by Pope Francis being elected as the new head of the Catholic Church.
